What this November can actually mean for you

I saw a great post the other day that said to treat November as No-vember. As your month to say ‘no.’ NO!

No to everything that isn’t serving you in any way. To the things that you don’t want to do. To the things that you don’t need or want in your life (right now).

No to the noise.
No to the pressure.
No to negativity.
No to stress.
No to whatever it is you need to say no to.

With so much heavy and draining stuff going on in the world at the moment, it’s a good time to start curating the influences in your life for your mental health, happiness and well being. Curating doesn’t mean ignoring, it just means filtering out the stuff that does no good and bringing onboard more of the stuff that does.

It’s okay to take a break from your business.
It’s okay to not be marketing, marketing, marketing, selling, selling, selling, all of the time.
It’s okay to give social media a break.

It’s okay to pause.

Maybe it’s time for you to listen to your needs and figure out what you want and need going forward.

For us at the Celebrants Collective HQ, this is exactly what we’re doing. We’re getting ready to have a month of time out. To restock and replenish ourselves. To take time to absorb and reflect. To take our foot off the pedal and slow ourselves down because we know that we don’t have to be ‘on it’ and ‘at it’ 24/7 to have a thriving business.

We also know we’ll come out on the other side much better for it. Funnily enough without having intentionally planned it this way, our last group coaching call for members this November is all about setting boundaries and saying ‘no.’ So the universe is definintely siding with us on this!

So if you’re feeling the same, that you need to put some boundaries in place, or make changes to your work-life, or to get ready for a much-needed break, here are some resources from our blog and other sources that might help point you in the right direction.

If you’re fed up or struggling with ideas for content for social media, you can grab our free social media planner here. If you use a scheduling tool like Later, you can schedule posts well in advance. This means you can still be present on social media, without actually being present. Win-win!

If you’re planning to take time off away from your business, especially in the run up to the festive period, this fab blog post will give you some top tips for how to do it.
If you feel like it’s time to make some changes to how you work and run your business then this post on eliminating, delegating and automating might be useful.
If your email boundaries are non existent, then this post will help you to get on top of your communication with others and managing their expectations.

If you’ve made space for learning over the next few months, you can take our free confident celebrant course, if you haven’t already.

And if you want to take your learning up a notch, use this coupon LOVE50 in our celebrant resource shop and get any of the e-books in there for 50% off. (CC Members you have these resources in our Resource Room!)

And lastly, there are also 23 episodes of the Celebrant Survival podcast to devour! Episodes that will make you laugh, raise a smile and make you think! And now’s a perfect opportunity to catch up with them all whilst we’re on a break to re-brand and record new episodes. Yay! You can listen here.

Here’s to making these last few months of the year count! By listening to yourself and fine-tuning your needs.
