Code of Conduct
As a member of the Celebrants’ Collective we ask all members to observe and adhere to our code of conduct.
As a practising professional celebrant you will;
- Treat other celebrants within this community with courtesy, kindness and respect. This covers all instances, from communication via social media, on forums, in Facebook groups, as well as in person too. Bullying in any shape or form will not be tolerated.
- Do you best to improve your personal and professional development and to be as active member of the Celebrants Collective community as possible. You will use your membership to the Celebrants Collective community wisely and as intended.
- Conversely, you will never misuse your membership to the Celebrants Collective or use it falsely in anyway.
- Let the Celebrants Collective administrative team know if you have any problems with your membership, or use of your Celebrants Collective account or any materials and technologies associated with the Celebrants Collective. We are here to help you, but we can’t help if we don’t know that you need it!
Terms & Conditions
ACCOUNT CREATION
In order to use the Celebrants Collective website, you will be required to provide information about yourself including your name, email address, username and password, and other personal information. You agree that any registration information you given to the Celebrants Collective will always be accurate, correct, and up to date. You must not impersonate someone else or provide account information or an email address other than your own. Your account must not be used for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
ACCOUNT RENEWAL
Your account will be set up on an annual automatic renewal basis, whether you pay annually or monthly. You will be sent a few email reminders when you’re account is due to be renewed, which will allow you to continue your subscription, upgrade it or cancel it. Your subscription can also be cancelled at any time prior to this. Please see our notes on Cancellations, refunds and returns below.
MEMBERSHIP STATUS
Being a member of the Celebrants Collective means that you are a member of an educational support collective. The Celebrants Collective is not a celebrant association, official celebrant body or organization or celebrant training body. You must refrain from implying in any way that your membership to the Celebrants Collective constitutes a form of official celebrant training or confers on you the status of being a trained celebrant. Celebrants Collective membership is for the professional development of people who are already working as celebrants, not for those wanting to become celebrants.
ACCOUNT USE
As a member your account is private for your use, for the person whose name is on the account. You must not share your account with other individuals or make it available for use by anyone other than yourself.
PASSWORDS
To use certain features of the website or its Content, you may need a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password, and you are responsible for all activities, whether by you or by others, that occur under your username or password and within your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized or improper use of your username or password or any other breach of security. To help protect against unauthorized or improper use, make sure that you log out at the end of each session requiring your username and password.
It is your responsibility to protect your username and password from disclosure to others. The Celebrants Collective cannot be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your username, account or password.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS
You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be made for any membership fees already paid. Once you cancel, you will no longer have access to the Service, including all content and community resources, after your current membership period is completed. If you decide to cancel your membership, please make sure to remove any Celebrants Collective badges and logos from your website and other marketing materials.
REUSE OF MATERIALS
The content on and within the Celebrants Collective website is exclusive to Celebrants Collective members. This is a paid service for members only. Please do not share links, video links, blog posts, features or any other educational resources with people who are not Celebrants Collective members. Most links are protected and will not be able to be viewed by people who are not members.
