Our last words for 2020…

By Natasha Johnson

December 2, 2020

2020 has challenged everyone mentally, physically and financially. It was a year that we did not wish for and one that we weren’t expecting. There has been so much loss, so much grief, disappointment, displacements, postponements, cancellations and restrictions. Restrictions to work life, restrictions to family life.

For many celebrants, being part of a celebrant community has been a lifeline. To have these connections, camaraderie, friendships and support has made all of the difference in what has been a rollercoaster year.

Yet although there has been a lot of darkness this year, there has been a lot of light too. The way that all types of communities have found new ways to come together. The way that families and friends connect more than ever before. The way that 2020 has taught us to treasure what’s important and what really matters in life.

Thank you for being a part of the global community of celebrants and officiants. Thank you for your support, encouragement, investment, energy, sense of humor, generosity and love. Thank you for your kindness, bravery and resilience. Thank you for coming together when it’s been needed, for stepping up to help others when they’ve needed it and for asking for help when you’ve needed it.

As 2020 draws to a close, do be kind and gentle to yourself and others. Put your energy into where it really needs to go and spend time doing what you love with the people you love and do everything and anything to replenish and restore yourself in all the ways that you need it.

This Friday 4th December is our last day in the office, as we’re off to do everything we just said above. We hope that you can make time for yourself and start 2021 afresh, ready to take on the new year.

We’re having a digital detox. So there’ll be no more posts on social media, no more blog posts and newsletters. You may see us pop up here and there in our FB groups (because we are celebrants who love connection, after all!) but mostly our agenda is to step away and have a complete break, so that we can come back next year, fueled up and ready to deliver all of our fabulous plans and ideas.

, we'd love to see you joining us next year for some of our awesome career development activities and events, including this fabulous webinar line up.

And if you can see yourself coming onboard the CCHQ for more educational goodness and support in 2021, if you join within the next 48 hours, you'll get your first month FREE and access to our huge library of webinars and video tutorials, celebrant e-books, guides, checklists and our Blogging for Business course, too!

FREE for the first month and then 15 Euros/13 UK POUNDS/ 18 USD/ 23 CAD/ 25 AUD/ 26 NZD/ a month afterwards.

Join us today, yay!

Take care of yourself. See you in 2021!
